EMR Integration

Simplify Your Practice Maximize Your Revenue

There are many types of electronic interfaces.

Some of the major ones are as follows

MDofficeManager’s EMR Integration Services can interface easily with any Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. We provide no-cost customized interfacing services on a quick turn-around for both standards-based (HL7) and proprietary systems. There are many types of electronic interfaces. Some of the more prominent ones are as follows:

Document Interface

Document interface transmits transcribed documents to the EMR system in a structured data format making it ready to import by that system. This automation saves significant time and generally makes transcribed reports immediately available for review.

ADT Interface

Admission, Discharge, Transfer (ADT) interfaces communicate non-clinical demographic information from a third-party EMR system to our system. It is a dual system whereas we receive ADT messages and in turn match these messages with the transcribed document in our system to give you this document in real time. The need for physicians to spell-out patient names and detailed identification information is eliminated as the patients are already registered in our system. It saves time & effort by eliminating duplicates or missing files in the system.

Laboratory and Prescription Interface

Laboratory and Prescription Interface facilitate paperless orders by sending electronic requisitions and receiving results electronically. Order interfaces will include one entry per order. The laboratory interface validates required data before order send to lab. The result dashboard allows normal and abnormal data search capability to improve productivity of the provider and staff. We provide free interface with major laboratories of the country.

Eventually, all EMR vendors/suppliers are expected to accept these data formats and the power of interfacing will be amplified with minimal effort. MDofficeManager is far superiorly and technologically advanced in this arena as we have already begun utilizing these interface capabilities.

The Point & Click option with EMR systems is time consuming and tedious. Most physicians express that this is an area of the EMR systems that they would prefer not to complete. However, it is necessary to fill the patient information and notes in order to complete the patient’s charts and to meet MIPS/APM. With the services offered by MDofficeManager, you receive the best of both worlds. Physicians dictate notes, we transcribe and l send the transcribed notes directly to your EMR system. Physicians, in turn, receive completed patient notes by not having to click & search for the proper options. This allows physicians to focus on treatment and listen problems with their patients. We at MDofficeManager believe physicians should continue being physicians & not typists.

How will MDofficeManager help you attain a patient-centric practice?

If your productivity and revenue needs a boost, you are in the right place.

Here’s how it works:

You talk(dictate), we type(transcribe), we integrate the report in the patient’s chart in the EMR system. Let us increase your efficiency, productivity & satisfaction. If you are freed from using the Point & Click option from your EMR system, you can focus on the patient and generate revenue without missing incentives.

We will not only guide you from selection to implementation of an EMR system, but we will also provide you with best in class solutions and usage advice.

Health Information Exchange

Health information exchange (HIE) is the transfer of healthcare information electronically across organizations within a region, community or hospital system. HIE provides the capability to electronically transfer clinical information among different health care information systems while maintaining accuracy of information. The goal of HIE is to facilitate access to and retrieval of clinical data to provide safer and more timely, patient-centered care. HIE is also useful for public health authorities to assist in analyses of the general population’s health. HIE systems facilitate the efforts of physicians and clinicians to meet the high standards of patient care through electronic participation in a patient’s continuity of care with multiple providers.

Verizon Medical Data Exchange (MDE) is a web-services platform that allows healthcare providers to push both structured and unstructured information to one another electronically via transcription platforms, electronic medical records (EMRs), electronic health records (EMRs), HIEs, and the Verizon portal, in a fully virtualized, highly available, secure and cost effective manner.

MDofficeManager is a member of the consortium with Verizon MDE, which is integrated into our workflow platform.   MDE allows HIPAA compliant, secure information data exchange. Additionally, physicians are able to receive MDE messages into their inbox from any other facility, transcription service provider or platform technology.
